MILITARY HISTORY:
A experienced pilot with good leadership skills which have seen him advance from Lieutenant to Captain in a matter of months following the death of his brother. He spent most of his earlier military career trying to enhance his career himself on Caprica before he was ordered to joined the Galactica for its send off and that of his father’s.

BRIEF PERSONAL HISTORY:

Born on Caprica to William and Caroline; his father in the colonial fleet which put a strain on the family with him being constantly away from home. Lee was mostly raised by his mother as a result which placed a slight hatred towards him early in life but his mother cared for him and gave him a good education but it wasn’t what Lee wanted.

It was harder for Zak with an absent father and the inevitable divorce that happened in his early teens. Lee tried to be there for his brother but he also wanted to have a relationship with his father so he made a choice.

He wanted to win his father’s affection by following his footsteps and so once he completed college he enrolled onto the colonial fleet on Caprica where he started his officer candidate training with a desire to continue onto flight school. Within three years he was advancing onto flight school where he mastered the Raptor and moved onto Viper piloting. Before long he was graduated and commissioned as Lieutenant and went onto war college.

Zak followed Lee into the colonial fleet, not wanting his brother to out shone him in there father’s eyes so he graduated the initial training and moved onto the real challenge of flight school where he fell in love with his flight instructor Kara Thrace. Lee became friends with Kara through Zak but that didn’t last too long when the family suffered a tragedy.

During a routine flight operation, Zak was killed and it caused a rip in the family. Lee blamed his father for it believing that Zak was never meant to be in a cockpit and was forced into to win his father’s intention. This caused Lee to grow apart from his father and they stopped talking which also made him grow apart from Kara as well.

During the months after the funeral of Zachary Adama, Lee concentrated on making himself a career that wasn’t influenced by his father or the name Galactica and so he worked hard and soon he was promoted to Captain in the colonial fleet which he was proud to have done without his father’s help in the matter. However he couldn’t escape his father and the Galactica for long when he was ordered to fly the lead in the de-commissioning ceremony for the Galactica and its commander, his father.
